Q: Why did you choose CUA?

CUA offered everything I was looking for in a university: great location, Catholic identity, and excellent engineering program. After visiting CUA for Odyssey Day, I knew that it was the perfect fit for me.

Q: Achievements most proud of while at CUA

I am most proud of receiving the Department of Biomedical Engineering’s H.B. Atabek Award for an outstanding academic record and exemplary human qualities.

Q: What extra-curricular activities did you participate in?

While at CUA, I participated in Engineers Without Borders, Tau Beta Pi, Phi Eta Sigma, and BMES. I also studied abroad in Spring 2015 with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University exchange program.

Q: What did you like about CUA most?

I really like that CUA provided me not only with a strong engineering education, but also with a strong liberal arts education, helping to form me into a well-rounded adult. Also, I love the strong sense of community at CUA.

Q. What are your plans after graduation?

I will be pursuing a Master of Science in Biotechnology with a concentration in Molecular Targets and Drug Discovery Technologies at Johns Hopkins University.
