Kathleen Sheridan, B.B.E., M.S.B.E., class of 2017
Hometown: Chevy Chase, MD
Q: Why did you choose CUA?
I chose CUA because I wanted to go to a school with a strong Catholic identity and I wanted to stay close to home.
Q: Achievements most proud of while at CUA
I am most proud of the fact that I will be graduating this spring with both my Bachelor's and my Master's in biomedical engineering.
Q: What extra-curricular activities did you participate in?
During my time at CUA, I was a member of Biomedical Engineering Society and Engineers Without Borders.  I was also VP of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honors society, and Society Of Women Engineers.
Q: What did you like about CUA most?
I loved the personal connection I felt with each of my professors, particularly in the biomed department. I felt that they were truly invested in their students.  I also loved how close our biomedical class was. I consider each of them to be a good friend.
Q. What are your plans after graduation?
I will be starting medical school at Georgetown this fall.  My father went to Georgetown for medical school as well and I am very excited to continue the tradition.
